Julie’s professional adventures have been diverse, dynamic, and highly fulfilling. Working with leaders ranging in age from sixteen to sixty-four, Julie creates integrated coaching and leadership development programs for corporations that care, progressive foundations, and nonprofit organizations with social justice missions.

She leads initiatives to infuse coaching into leaders’ journeys, enhancing their personal and professional effectiveness and satisfaction. Over the past two decades, Julie has coached over 1,000 leaders throughout the United States, in Latin America, Europe, and Asia. She is a fluent Spanish-speaking Latina of Central American and Caribbean descent.

Julie’s coaching background includes co-active coaching methodology, conflict resolution skills, improvisational theater, effective communication, storytelling, and direct feedback – when combined, they unleash clients’ strengths and support them to work from their core values.

Her credentials include a master’s degree in Sociology, training and certification as a Co-Active Coach, Organizational and Relationship Systems Coach, and Leadership Circle Assessment Practitioner. Julie is a mother of two teenagers, so making time for self-care is a focus. She practices self-care in unconventional ways as an improv theater and stand-up comedy performer, co-producer of Seattle’s popular “Salon of Shame” cringe reading events, and hobbyist baker/chef, kombucha brewer and gardener.
