Allegra is passionate about social impact. Exposure to the non-profit sector in a variety of cultural and political landscapes has deepened her interest in the mechanics of the forces that drive social change: communities, nonprofit organizations, social enterprises, philanthropists, and their complex interactions with one another.

In April 2020, Allegra launched Catharsis, a consulting firm that transforms nonprofits by empowering organizations to use strategic marketing to access resources, build community, and further their missions.

Within the context of nonprofit work, Allegra has experience in strategic marketing and communications, foundation relations management, program development and management, strategic planning, Learning Monitoring & Evaluation, volunteer management, fundraising campaigns, and event coordination.

Allegra graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.A. in Human Services and International Affairs from Northeastern. Allegra has also earned certifications in Inbound Marketing and Social Media Strategy.
