Robin Arnett, MPA, MSW, LCSW, Wise Mind Consulting
Robin Arnett is a consultant and psychotherapist that works primarily with nonprofit organizations. Robin enjoys helping nonprofits to solve problems that are preventing them from operating at their full potential, whether these be programmatic, institutional, or personnel-related. Robin brings experience from the corporate consulting world, as a psychotherapist, and as a nonprofit director and employee. The combination of these skills and this experience have enabled her to thrive in all of these environments and create a unique lens. She uses this lens to see issues from angles that others may not, and solve problems in creative, compassionate, and people-centered ways.
Robin’s areas of expertise include organizational development, program development and evaluation, trauma, and strategic planning. She is skilled and developing systems and organizing information to create efficiencies and improve overall functioning. Robin is particularly concerned with helping nonprofits to overcome high turnover and burnout, and address toxic cultural attitudes, such as a scarcity mindset. She also loves to help organizations to create or update programming to be more trauma-informed, sustainable, and relevant.
Robin holds a BA in political science from Vanderbilt University, where she graduated magna cum laude. She later completed a dual-degree program at Columbia University, becoming a Master of Social Work and a Master of Public Administration. Robin is fluent in Spanish and has experience working with diverse populations and organizations in South Africa, Ecuador, Uganda, Nicaragua, New York City, Nashville, Denver, and Aurora.
